Meet the Designer: Katy from No Big Dill

Let's meet Katy from No Big Dill today.....

Before I had six kids, I sewed for myself.  Exclusively.  But then not only did my attention turn to the raising of my kids, but my sewing did as well.  It's faster, easier (less curves!) and uses less fabric, so I forgot over the years how satisfying it can be to sew for myself.  I've always loved sewing, but I got really serious about it when I had Mrs. Price in high school.  I was in a car accident and missed a term of school my freshman year and they needed to "stick" me in some class that where missing half the semester was critical.  Mrs. Price instilled in me a desire for precision, but creativity as well. Fabric stores make my heart race.

Ryan is the love of my life and we made some pretty cute kids together, if I do say so myself.  We were blessed with 5 girls and finally a boy.  When I'm not sewing, I am doing laundry, baking, playing the harp, gardening, keeping bees, and sweeping my white floors. I couldn't think of a better job in the whole world than being a mom.
