Love it or Leave it: Animal Print

ANIMAL PRINTS
It seems like this trend is sticking around for at least one more season.
And they are everywhere...on dresses, shoes, and handbags!

So what do you think?
Do you love them?  Is leopard print the new black?
Or...
Do you think animal prints should be returned to Mother Natures closet?

  1. I like animal prints within reason but I don't wear 'em. They can look great when combined stylishly but also can be very tacky when not careful and going overboard with it.

  2. They've been around so long this time - I'm pretty tired of the animal prints.

  3. I have some leopard print stretch woven cotton I want to make pants with. I love it in small doses and think it's a classic.

  4. I love it! In small doses, mostly, although at the moment I'm actually wearing a killer zebra-striped sheath dress. Animal print, especially leopard, always seems so classically classy to me--when done right. It can certainly skew trashy very quickly, but it's a perennial classic. I love feather prints, as well as the leopard, tiger, and zebra prints that are always cycling through fashion.

  6. I can't say I'm a fan of animal prints, of any kind, but I know that many people really love them. For that reason, I would say I think they should stay, maybe not quite so many of them, but certainly people should be able to find fashion they like. And just because I personally don't care for it doesn't mean no one else should be able to find it. Like pink. When pink is "out" I'm very sad. And I invariably neeeeed something pink when there's none to be found. :-)

  7. It's so funny how timely this post is! Just yesterday, I saw this leopard print colourblock dress on Ashley Stewart that sparked a Pinterest frenzy for about two hours! I especially find that the leopard print has really become a neutral especially for shoes, bags and belts. And it's so perfect as an accent piece in outfits for all occasions. So definitely, LOVE IT!

  9. I'm personally a little meh on animal prints--they can be fun on an accessory, and I prefer prints other than leopard, zebra, or snake--giraffe is kind of cool. But I often admire them on other people--just not my personal style!
